R. Mark Skinner is the founder and President of Skinner Commercial Realty & Associates, Inc., SCR was established in 2003 as a full-service, commercial real estate company. Project leasing, asset acquisition and disposition, tenant representation and investment analysis are the primary services offered. Mr. Skinner’s comprehensive knowledge of real estate, experience with local municipal government and desire to bring a higher level of professionalism to the marketplace provided him the impetus to start his own company. SCR’s business philosophy is centered on the belief that every real estate participant deserves the same level of quality service. SCR presents a higher degree of sophistication to first-time investors, and offers over 25 years of expertise to the most seasoned professional.

Experience, expertise and a history of success are the hallmarks of Mr. Skinner’s career. He is a former Senior Vice President-Manager with Henry S. Miller Company’s Office and Industrial Group, where he reorganized the Great Southwest brokerage operations.

Prior to working for Henry S. Miller, Mr. Skinner was a Vice President with Bradford Companies (formerly Vantage Companies) in the Great Southwest office and industrial market. With Bradford for 17 years, he performed leasing and marketing assignments for clients including, but not limited to, AMB Institutional Realty Advisors, Northwestern Mutual Life, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, Eastgroup, Security Capital Industrial Trust, The Belmont Group, Merit Equity Partners, RREEF Funds and Travelers Insurance Company. Closing nearly 600 transactions with a value in excess of $95,000,000, Mr. Skinner was consistently one of Bradford’s “Top Producers”. From 1995 to 2001 he leased or sold 4.8 million square feet of industrial and office space.

Mr. Skinner has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Arlington. He is currently active in the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, and is a past chairman of The Great Southwest Association. From 2003 to the present he has served as a board member of the Great Southwest Arlington Management District. He currently serves as President Elect of the North Texas chapter of the ACS Association. In addition, Mr. Skinner was a Colleyville City Councilman from 2003-2005.
